Our Tears

Lately, I have close relationship with my tears. I met them at least once a day, often more. My tears are my all-the-way company who has never let me down.

I am not the crying-type exactly. But these past couple months and still ongoing, I cry more than I can imagine I could. Lets pass the why question and jump into the what question.

Have you ever wonder what tear is ?

Well, last night, as I wept myself up, my thoughts came across to that question. And as usual, Granpa Google helped me out this morning. He sent me to Aunt Wiki's page about tears. And voila! Its all there.

Interesting fact in from Aunt Wiki is this part,

Tears brought about by emotions have a different chemical make up than those for lubrication; emotional tears contain more of the protein-based hormones prolactin, adrenocorticotropic hormone, and leucine enkephalin (a natural painkiller) than basal or reflex tears.

Now, I figured it out!
That's why I cried so much lately and might be some more times in the future. I need that painkiller thing which is brought by my tears. :) I guess, thank you is in order. So, thank you, my tears..

~This post is dedicated to all Mount Merapi's survivors all over Central Java and its surroundings, for it blasts still ongoing until this post is published. My constant prayers and love to all.
Also for every single human being in this world who sheds tears for any kind of reasons. Our tears heal us.
